In earlier times geography was limited to just study of physical features of earth and measurement of land. Over the period Geography has emerged as an interdisciplinary subject. The nature of geographical phenomenon is such that it calls for systematic analysis of events just like various other sciences which involve experiments under observations.
The influence of geography is tremendous on the human population. Hence it led to the development of a separate branch of geography called human Geography. Human geography is all about moulding and understanding geography for the betterment of mankind. Now geography is no longer limited to a single field.
Weather prediction: Study of meteorolgy and Instrumentation
Weather patterns: Laws of Physics
Remote sensing: Optical physics plus robotics
Agriculture: Climate + Bio engineering
Disaster management: Study and prediction with the application of physical laws
Thus we see that in order to make life easier for human beings Geography is integrated with various other subjects so as to make this earth the most suitable place for survival of humans.
